Knitting pattern for HØJ hat by Olga Jazzy
"I met Olga Jazzy for the first time many years ago at a course with Isager at Tversted Skole. Olga is from Belarus, but has lived in the US for nearly 20 years. She has a completely special ability to design the most wonderful and thought through designs. She can devise designs and methods as no one I've ever met. She lives to teach, design patterns and publish books.
I have knitted HØJ hat once to test some new yarn from Chile, and instead of making a normal test piece, I made this hat instead. I use hats often, all winter after my winter baths every morning and when I have been a trip to Øresund.
The hat is a really good starter/practice project for brioche stitch, increases and decreases in brioche. It's an easy project, which is beautiful and useful. The hat is asymetrical and gives it a different expression, depending on how you wear it. I can warmly recommend knitting HØJ hue.", says Katrine Hannibal
