Knitting kit for June Top Light by PetiteKnit in Önling No 12

June Top Light is a sweet and simple summer tank top, designed by PetiteKnit. The June Top Light is extra light and summery, as it is worked in 1 strand of Önling No 12. It is worked from the bottom up, and it has a deep neckline on the back and small i-cord edges.

This yarn kit contains: Önling No 12 yarn for the selected size and a printed pattern, which you'll receive physically with your yarn. The pattern is NOT digital.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

Measurements:
Bust circumference: 79 (83) 90 (94) 101 (113) 123 cm [31¼ (32¾) 35½ (37) 39¾ (44½) 48½ inches]
Total length: 50 (52) 54 (56) 58 (59) 61 cm [19¾ (20½) 21¼ (22) 22¾ (23¼) 24 inches]

Size guide: The June Top Light is designed to have approx. 6 cm [2¼ inches] of negative ease. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measure 89 cm [35 inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S top has a bust circumference of 83 cm [32¾ inches] which in the given example would give you 6 cm [2½ inches] of negative ease.

Gauge: 28 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm [US1½] needles

Suggested needles: 2.5 mm [US1½] / 80 cm [32 inches] and 2 mm [US0] / 40 and 80 cm [16 and 32 inches] circular needles

Materials: 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 (2) 2 cones Önling No 12, 55% wool and 45% cotton. Sold on cones of 800 m pr. cone. 800 m = ca 115 g.

You work the top with one strand of Önling No 12 throughout

Procedure: June Top is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, then the work is divided into front and back, and each section is finished separately by working back and forth in stockinette stitch. The pattern also contains instructions for working the top from the middle by using a provisional cast on, so the length of the top can be adjusted at the end. The June Top is designed to have a deeper neckline on the back – but only so deep that it still covers the bra. A small i-cord edge is worked along all edges.

Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
