Knitting kit for Chunky Easy Peasy cardigan by Önling
Here is the knitting pattern for a simple and easy to knit cardigan, worked on needle size 10 / US 15.
This cardigan is great to throw on on a chilly summer evening as it is both soft, light and has a great fit. It is cropped at the waist and a bit oversized, providing about 15-20 cm/6-8 inches of ease (more than your bust measurement), with slightly deep armholes.
In this kit, we work Chunky cardigan in 2 strands of Önling No 12 and 2 strands of Önling No 10 (silk mohair) held together. That gives a light and fluffy expression.
Easy Peasy is Önling’s series of basic sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and shawls in classic Nordic designs, with patterns written in a simple and beginner friendly language - without abbreviations.

2 cones = (130)150(160)170(175)175(200) g Önling No 12, 55 % wool, 45 % cotton, 815 m pr. 115 g.
(125)150(150)150(175)175(200) g Önling No 10, 90% mohair, 30% silk, 210 m pr. 25 g.
Knit with two strands of silk mohair Önling No 10 and two strands of Önling No 12 yarn, which means using a total of 4 strands throughout the entire project
Colors:
This kit gives you a more or less solid colored cardigan, i.e. where the two strands of No 12 are kept in the same color and the two strands of No 10 the same. If you want a more colorful cardigan, you can choose our kit in 4 colors, where you can mix 4 completely different yarns. You can see the kit in 4 colors here
Recommended circular needle size: 10 mm / US 15
9 stitch markers
Gauge:
10 stitches and 14 rows in stockinette stitch on size 10 mm / US 15 needles = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm)
Procedure:
The cardigan is knitted back and forth, from the top down in one piece. An i-cord is worked, into which stitches are picked up. The yoke is first knitted with increases in the center front and raglan increases on the right side, and then with raglan increases on the right side. Then the work is divided, and the sleeves and body are finished separately. The length can be easily adjusted to be shorter or longer as desired.

It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
