Knitting process:
Waffle Loop Neckwarmer is worked bottom up from the back, over the shoulders and down the front. First, stitches are cast on using tubular cast on at the bottom on the back. Then, the back is worked flat in rib stitch followed by waffle structure. The shoulders are worked individually, while increases are worked to shape the neckline. The shoulder pieces are joined for the front by cast on stitches. The front is then worked flat in waffle structure, while decreases are worked to create the trapeze-shape of the neck warmer. The front is concluded with ribbing and tubular bind off. Finally, stitches along the neckline are picked up and worked in the round in rib stitch. The ribbing is bound off using tubular bind off.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
