Knitting kit for Smilla Sweater by Anne Ventzel in Önling No 20 + Silk mohair

SMILLA SWEATER is a classic oversize sweater, with a simple and sophisticated cable pattern - designed by talented Anne Ventzel. The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. It is a stylish and classic sweater which is incredibly warm and snug at the same time

Here we knit it in a great combination of Önling no 20, 100% shetland wool and Önling No 10, silk mohair, for a classic and durable result with a rustic look.

The pattern is available in English, German, Norwegian and Swedish.

The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

Models are knitted by Anne Ventzel and not in Önling yarns.

Procedure:
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. First the back yoke is worked and then stitches are picked up and knitted along the shoulders, which are them worked and joined to form the front yoke. The back and front yoke are joined at the bottom of the armholes and the body is worked in the round until it is divided into front and back again and each section is worked back and forth to form the side slits. After this stitches are picked up and knitted first for the neck edge and them for the sleeves, which are all worked in the round.

Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
