Knitting kit for Ohoy summer top with stripes in Önling No 12 and No 13

A lovely summer top with pretty stripes and single rib edges. The top is slightly oversized with extra width, and can be worn all year round with a blazer or shawl. It is worked from the bottom up. The first piece is worked straight up, then continue with increases in the side seams. At the armhole divide the work and knit back and front piece separately. Knit stripes all the way up. Finally knit rib edges on the neck and arms.

Önling's Everyday Kit is a lovely and light combination of Önling No 12, 55% wool and 45% cotton and Önling No 13, a fine accompanying thread, consisting of cashmere and ultra-soft wool from the lamb's very first cut. The two yarns are fantastic together, as No 13 gives No 12 an extra boost, a nicer hold and a better structure.

Work with 2 strands throughout. The accompanying thread (No 13)  remains the same throughout and the 2 different stripes are knitted in 2 different colors of No 12. 

Recommended circular needle and double-pointed needles: Size 3 ½ and 4 mm / US 10 and 8.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
