Procedure:
VesterbyCrea No.11. Wool is worked top down. Start by knitting the yoke flat including the fronts, back and sleeves with braids. Raglan increases are worked on sleeves, front and back. The V-neck is worked with increases on every second right row. After working increases for V-neck the sweater is connected in the round. Then body is worked with braid pattern. The body is finished with ribbing and stretchy/italian bind off method. Sleeves are knitted in the round in ribbing and the braid pattern is placed on mid sleeve. Sleeves are also finished with stretchy/italian bind off method. V-neck is worked in ribbing by picking up stitches along the V-neck. This sweater is therefore assembly-free!
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
