Yarn kit for Fryd top in Önling No 12

Fryd, Freja and Fenja, were designed for our popular Summer Knitting Box - but we love it just as much during winter. It can be used as a slip-over or vest, styled with a shirt or T-shirt. The V-neck top is knit in the round in lace pattern from the bottom up. Then proceed in stockinette st up to the armhole and finish off with i-cord. The pretty lace pattern creates a beautiful wave hemline.

Here we knit it in our everyday yarn, Önling No 12 for a light summer version. You can also work it in leftovers from our silk kit or in a luxurious version with cashmere and wool, Önling No 11.

Recommended circular needle size 3½ and 4 mm / US 4 and 6
Crochet hook size 3½ / US 4.
2 markers for the side seams

Gauge: 23 sts and 33 r in stockinette st on needle size 3½ / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
