Column Cowl is a cylinder shaped cowl, which is worked in the round in stranded knitting. The stranded pattern is worked only from the right side, which makes this a good beginner project if you do not have much experience with stranded knitting.

Color A, B, C, D and E is worked in two strands held together throughtout
Needles:
Circular needles: 4.5 mm and 5 mm, 60 cm. Optional: A 4.5 mm straight needle for the Italian cast-on
Gauge:
21 sts and 21 rows in pattern on a 5 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
