Linea Top is a feminine, romantic top with a loose fit with thin I-Cords to bind on top of the shoulders. The front and back piece are alike and are worked in two pieces until you reach the bottom of the armhole opening, then you will gather the front and the back piece and knit in the round. The back and front pieces start with a ribbed frontband in which the stitches for the yoke is picked up in.  

The top has a beautiful pattern. It is made in stockinette stitches – first back and forth before the front and the back piece are gathered – later in the round. The stockinette pattern has nice vertical lines which are made from chain stitches – slipped purlwise with yarn in front of your work on the flat side of your work (the backside), knitted on the other side (the frontside).

The top is worked top down and it is easy to adjust the length of the top. The top is meant to have a positive ease of 5-15 cm. If you want a tighter look, choose a smaller size.

This knitting kit contains: Önling No 12 and No 13 yarn and a digital pattern.

Bust measurements: approx. 97 (105) 108 (112) 116 cm measured from where the top is gathered.
Body length measured under the armhole opening: 27 (28) 29 (30) 31 cm.

Materials: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 Everyday kits fra Önling. The Everyday kit consists of 2 qualities, you knit together; Önling No 12, 55 % wool, 45 % cotton, 750 m pr. 105 g. and Önling No 13, 95% lambs wool form the 1st cut and 5% cashmere, 1600 m pr. 80 g.

1 stitch marker. 

Recommended needle sizes: Needle size 3 mm, 80 cm and 2.5 mm. 

Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm using needle size 3 mm 

Washing directions:
The yarn Önling No 12 and No 13 has not been prewashed when you receive the cones. You get the best result by soaking the finished project in lukewarm water for about 2 hours. Then wash the project as you would otherwise do using a wool wash, either by hand or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Dry flat.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
