Knitting kit for Raindrop shawl by Ruth Sørensen in Önling No 20
This amazing Raindrop shawl is designed by the talented Ruth Sørensen. It is not just incredibly beautiful, it is also large and very versatile. The shawl has a natural transition in the color changes and is nothing less than a completely unique design.
Ruth is an experienced, Danish knitting designer who is very talented at designing Fair Isle knitting and at mixing stunning colorways. In this design she has put together 3 color profiles in our No 20 yarn in 100% Shetland wool, each one providing their own lovely color palette.
NOTE: Some of the colors used in the three colorways shown on this page have unfortunately been discontinued. We have put together some kits that are as close to the images shown as possible, but the colors will not be 100% the same. You are welcome to change the colors in the kit to make it exactly the way you want it.
The kit contains: 1000 gr Önling No 20 yarn in 5 different colors and a digital pattern in English.
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
