Oslo Hat Christmas Edition is PetiteKnit's version of her wellknown Oslo Hat, made for kids in a Christmas edition. It is a warm and cozy hat knitted in our organic 100% scratch-free merino wool Önling No 3, perfect for kids.
This kit contains: Önling No 3 for the selected size and color (pattern are not included)

Sizes: 0-2 (2-4) 4-10 years
Head circumference: 48-50 (50-52) 52-55 cm [19-19¾ (19¾-20½) 20½-21¾ inches]
Materials:
100 (150) 150 g Önling No 3, 100% fine organic merino wool, 50 g = approx. 145 yards (133 meters), fingering weight: DK / Worsted
You work with 1 strand throughout.
Gauge: 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 3 mm [US2½] needles
Needles:
Circular needle: 3 mm [US2½] / 40 cm [16 inches]
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm [US2½] (or a long circular needle if the Magic Loop technique is used)
Procedure:
The Oslo Hat – Christmas Edition is worked from the bottom up in stockinette stitch. The first part of the hat is worked on a 40 cm [16 inches] circular needle, while the top of the hat is worked either on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop technique.

Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
