Knitting kit for Irma T-shirt in the Everyday kit, Önling No 12 and No 13.
Irma T-shirt is a soft and light summer top with a simple lace pattern, which at the same time makes it feminine, classic, and simple. I am going to wear mine with my nice summer skirts or ¾-length trousers and my favorite sandals. The design is short and slightly oversize, i.e. with a positive ease of approx. 5-10 cm / 2-4 inches, and normal armhole depth. It has a wide neck opening to let us show off our nice summer tan. The pattern also describes how to make ¾-length sleeves.
Önling’s Everyday kit, in No 12 and No 13, is a light and summerly combination, perfect for tops, T-shirts, and light sweaters. Our Everyday Yarn, Önling No 12, is a light mix of wool and cotton. Önling No 13 is our accompanying thread in cashmere and super soft first-cut lambswool. Knitted together the two threads make up a fantastic combination, as No 13 gives No 12 a softer look, better texture, and firmer structure. Read more about the yarn and view larger images here.
This knitting kit contains: Önling No 12 and No 13 yarn and a pattern.

Procedure
The top is worked in the round from the top down. First, the yoke is worked with short rows and increases, and then with increases embedded in the lace pattern. Subsequently the piece is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. This makes it possible to try on the top as you go and make it fit perfectly for you. The length is easily adjusted to be made shorter or longer as you prefer.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
