Yarn kit for Cardi V-neck by Anne Ventzel, with Önling No 20 and Silk mohair yarn
Cardi V-neck is a soft and fluffy sweater with a simple and sophisticated honeycomb cable pattern. The sweater is worked from the top down. First the back neck edge is worked, then the back section of the yoke is worked down from the back neck edge. After this, stitches are picked up and knitted along the back shoulders for the front sections of the yoke. The back and front are then joined at the bottom of the armholes and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Finally stitches are picked up along the armholes for the sleeves and the sleeves are worked in the round from these to the cuffs.
In this yarn kit we knit with our beautiful Shetland Wool Önling No 20 combined with the luxurious Önling No 10 silk mohair yarn. We also have yarn kits for Cardi V-neck with other types of yarn.

Cardi V-neck is designed to have approx. 20-35 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 20-35 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement.
Materials:
This yarn kit does not contain the original yarn used by Anne Ventzel, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge:
300 (300) 350 (350) g Önling No 20, 100% Shetland wool, 50 g = ca 225 m.
150 (150) 175 (200) g Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = ca 210 m.
NOTE: Knit with two strands of yarn, the original yarn is knit with 3 strands. If an even softer look and feel is wanted, please add150 (150) 175 (200)g Önling No 10 to the shopping cart, this is a luxury not a necessity.

19 sts and 24 rows in PATTERN on a 5 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm
Suggested needles
Circular needles: 5 mm, 40, 80 and 140 cm; 4 mm, 40 and 140 cm

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
