Yarn kit for Jeol sweater by Aegyo Knit in Önling No 16 + Silk Mohair (excl pattern)

Jeol is Korean and means to bow for Buddha. The inspiration for Jeol came from the classic men’s coat with the herringbone pattern. The pattern is placed on the bottom of the sweater, in a colour in great contrast to the plain stockinette on the top. This is to underline the fusion between Scandinavian and Korean aesthetics which is the foundation of AegyoKnit.

Jeol sweater is worked from the top down without any need for additional finishing. German short rows are used to shape the neckline and it is worked simultaneously as the neck rib. Afterwards the shoulders are formed with increases and then the back and front are knitted separately before they are joined together. The colour work pattern on the body and sleeves are knitted by chart.

Here we knit Jeol sweater in Önling No 16 and slik mohair, resulting in a beautiful rustic look, a soft hand-feel and a beautiful color definition.

This kit contains: Önling No 16 and Önling No 10 for the selected size and color (pattern is not included)

PLEASE NOTE:
- This kit does not include a pattern. You can buy the pattern at Aegyo Knit
- The model shown in the pictures on this page are designers own and NOT worked in Önling yarns.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.

Önling is born with slow fashion at heart

When it comes to clothing, a long life is a good life. We have spun that philosophy into our products and designs. We want you to be able to create clothes in our yarns, that you'll want to wear until they are worn out. That requires quality. Quality in the materials, in the design and not least in the possibility for recycling and scrap usage.
