Yarn kit for Novice Cardigan Mohair Edition from PetiteKnit, Önling No 10
We share PetiteKnits love for mohair, and this new design includes all the things we love to knit. It's knitted with one thread of silk mohair, worked from the top down, and is knitted in our own ultra soft Silk Mohair Önling No 10.
The cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the edges are worked in rib.

The cardigans chest measurement: 96 100 (105) 111 (120) 129 140 151 161 cm
Length: 52 54 (56) 58 (59) 60 61 62 63 cm measured mid back
Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette on needle 4mm with two threads of silk mohair = 10 x 10 cm
Knitted with two threads throughout.
Suggested needle sizes: Circular needle 3,5 mm (80 cm), circular needle 4 mm (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm), double pointed needles 3,5 mm

This kit does not contain the original yarn used by PetiteKnit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge:
200 225 (225) 250 (250) 275 300 325 375 g Silk Mohair Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = 210 meters

The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices bt placing an order and stating the LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
