Let's Christmas Sweater is a super cozy sweater for kids, perfect for Christmas Eve or as a Christmas gift. The sweater has a double folded neck edge ond decorative pompons as ornaments. 

We knit Let's Christmas Sweater in our exquisite organic merino wool Önling No 4 held together with silk mohair, resulting in a warm and soft sweater.

This kit contains: Önling No 4 and silk mohair for the selected size and color (pattern are not included). Yarn for the pompons and crocheted chain stitches are not included.

You work with 2 strands held together throughout. 

Scraps of yarn for pompons and for the chain stitches.

Gauge: 21 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] on 4 mm (US6) needles, after blocking

Needles:
Circular needles 3.5 mm [US4] / 40, 60 and/or 80 cm [16, 24 and/or 32 inches]
Circular needles 4 mm [US6] / 40, 60 and/or 80 cm [16, 24 and/or 32 inches]
Double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4] and 4 mm [US6] 
Crochet hook: 3 mm

Procedure: 
The Christmas Sweater is worked seamless from the top down. The neck edge is folded and knitted together and short rows are worked to shape the neckline. The yoke is worked with raglan increases. At the end, the sweater is decorated with crocheted chain stitches and pompons in different colors

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
