Our own knitting patterns designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling are designed with the ambition to create your favorite knitwear, using classic Nordic design and natural materials. Knitting patterns for women is a very wide category of knitting patterns which includes cardigans, sweaters, vests, shawls, dresses, blouses, tops and t-shirts. It is therefore a really good place to find inspiration, and see what exciting things are happening in the knitting world right now. If you are new to the knitting world and are looking for easy knitting patterns for women, then we can recommend our Easy Peasy collection, which contains a series of knitting patterns written in an easy-to-understand language, without abbreviations and with video references to the techniques used. There is a wide variety of good beginner projects and nice sweaters which you can easily get started with. The patterns are also available as knitting kits which include the perfect yarn, so you don't have to worry about finding yarn in the right thickness and quantity either.

Knitting patterns from multiple designers

At Önling we sell knitting patterns for women from a number of talented designers. We primarily collaborate with Danish designers, and all our knitting patterns are in Danish. We are therefore pleased with the fact that we can offer the popular knitting patterns from PetiteKnit, Spektakelstrik, Plummum and Anne Ventzel among others. Most of our knitting patterns are delivered digitally as PDF files and will therefore be available for download immediately after purchase, so you can start knitting right away if you already have the yarn ready. However, this does not apply to patterns from PetiteKnit, as these are sold as printed patterns and therefore must be sent by post.

Once you find a knitting pattern you would like to knit you will obviously require yarn for the project. At Önling, we believe that even the best knitting pattern doesn’t stand a chance of becoming your favorite piece of knitwear if it isn’t made with high quality yarn. That is why we have a selection of yarns, which are all carefully selected and are of the highest quality and made of natural materials.
