18 sts and 32 rows (16 knit ridges) in knit ridges on needle size 5 / US 8 = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
Cozy plaid is knitted back and forth in knit ridges, at the beginning with increases both at the beginning and the end of all right-side rows, until the desired width is reached. Then knit ’straight diagonally’, ie increase at
the beginning and decrease at the end of the row until desired length, whereafter decreases are made at both sides until a finish is knitted using an i-cord bind-off. The color change is hidden snugly under the i-cord edge on the one side.
