Knitting kit for Dahlia summer t-shirt in Önling No 21 + No 13
Dahlia t-shirt is a pretty and classic t-shirt with a beautiful, structured stitch pattern, inspired by the Dahlia petal structure. Worked in light summer yarns, consisting of cotton, linen and a thin wool / cashmere blend, that is perfect for a Danish summer day. We have invented some new increase techniques that you will learn as you go.
The t-shirt is worked in a simple stitch pattern, which results in a pretty structure. It is easy to knit, top-down, which lets you fit the sweater to your measurements as you go.
The design is normal in size, with a positive ease of approx. 5-8 cm (2-3 inches) compared to your body measurements, and features deep armholes and short sleeves. The pattern also describes how to knit 3/4 long sleeves if you wish.
This knitting kit contains: Önling No 21 and No 13 yarn and a digital pattern.
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows/rounds in structure knitting on needle size 3,5 mm / US 4 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches
The t-shirt is worked all the way through with one strand of No 21 and one strand of No 13 held together.
Recommended circular needles: Sizes 3 and 3,5 / US 2.5 and 4.
Directions: The t-shirt is worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are cast on using the provisional crochet cast-on method to allow adjusting the neckline later. Short rows are used over shoulders and the back of the neck to make the neck higher at the back. The yoke is worked with raglan increases and deep armholes. The work is then divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.
Please Note: The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state LOT number in the comment box at checkout.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
