Yarn kit for Sweater No 20 by My Favourite Things Knitwear in Önling No 1 + 10 (excl pattern)
Sweater No. 20 is an oversized, cabled sweater with a boxy fit and dropped shoulders. The wide neck rib is a focal point of the sweater and makes for a unique feature.
The sweater is worked from the top down and requires minimal finishing.
We knit Sweater No 20 in our luxury yarn Önling No 1, merino wool and angora, held together with silk mohair, resulting in a warm, very light and soft sweater. This combination of yarn also highlights the feminine cable pattern.

Sweater No. 20 has an oversize fit. Calculate a positive ease of approx. 30 (30) 20 cm [12 (12) 8 inches] in relation to your bust circumference.
Sizes 1 (2) 3 are equivalent to the European standard sizes: XS-S (M-L) XL-XXL and suit a body circumference of approx. 80-90 (90-100) 100-120 cm [31.5-35.5 (35.5-39.25) 39.25-47.25 inches].
If you are in between sizes, size up.
For example: You measure 90 cm [35.5 inches] at your widest + 30 cm [12 inches] = 120 cm [47.5 inches]. Meaning you would choose a size 2 with a finished circumference of 125 cm [49 inches].
Suggested needles:
5.5 mm [US 9] circular needles (80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches])
4.5 mm [US 7] circular needles (40 cm or 80 cm [16 or 32 inches])
Gauge: In cabled pattern using 5.5 mm [US 9] circular needles: 21 sts / 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
Materials:
350 (400) 450 g Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool and 25% Angora, 50 g = approximately 197 yards (180 meters).
Held together with
150 (175) 200 g Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = approximately 230 yards (210 meters)
You work with 2 strands held together throughout

It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
