Sweater No. 18 is an oversize sweater worked in a textured pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches. The silhouette is inspired by the voluminous tops of the 80’s and features dropped shoulders and a boxy fit.
The intricate shoulder construction makes the sweater stand out with extra attention to detail. The sweater is worked from the top down without any need for additional finishing.
Here we knit Sweater No 18 in Önling No 1 and silk mohair. The result is a remarkably cozy and fluffy sweater, with af beautiful defined stitch pattern.

Size guide
Sweater No. 18 has an oversize fit. Calculate a positive ease of approx. 25-30 cm [9.75-11.75 inches] in relation to your measurement.
The sizes given are equivalent to the European standard sizes of 34/XS (36/S) 38/M (40/L) 42/XL (44/XXL) and a bust circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110) 110-120 cm [31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5) 35.5-37.5 (37.5-39.5) 39.5-43.25 (43.25-47.25) inches].
For example: You measure 89 cm [35 inches] at your widest + 30 cm [11.75 inches] = 119 cm [46.75 inches]. Ie. you should choose a size S with a circumference of 120 cm [47.25 inches].
Suggested needles:
5 mm [US 8] circular needles (80 or 100 cm [32 or 40 inches])
4 mm [US 6] circular needles (40 or 80 cm [16 or 32 inches])
Gauge:
In textured pattern using 5 mm [US 8] needles: 16 sts / 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
In 1x1 rib using 4 mm [US 6] needles: 25-26 sts / 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]

It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
