The knitting kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and a printed pattern, which you will recieve with the yarn. The kit does not contain buttons.

The Champagne Cardigan has an oversize fit and is designed to have approx. 28 cm positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 28 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement.

This kit does not contain the original yarn used by PetiteKnit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge:
350(350)400(400)400(450)500(500) g Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool and 25% Angora, 50 g = approximately 180m
125(125)150(150)175(175)175(200)200 g Önling No 10, 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 g = approximately 210m
4 buttons (ø = 22-24 mm). (not included in the kit)
Gauge: 18 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles
22 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double knitting on 3 mm needles
Worked with one thread throughout.
Needles: Circular needles: 4.5 mm / 40, 60 and 80 or 100 cm and 3 mm / 100 cm
Double-pointed needles: 4.5 mm (unless the Magic Loop technique is used) as well as a single 3 mm double-pointed needle
Procedure:
The Champagne Cardigan is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke and a deep V-neck. The neckline of the cardigan is shaped with short rows by raising the back of the neck. The button plackets are worked in double knitting with button holes along the right side.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
