Knitting pattern for Tide Loop Tee by Other Loops

Tide Tee Loop is designed in a loose t-shirt silhouette with an organic structure inspired by the sand pattern referred to as tidal ripples, which are revealed by the outgoing loop of the tide wave. The beautiful change gives a light breeze and is naturally elegant.

80 (80) 80 (80) 80

You work with two strands held together throughout

Recommended needles:
Circular needles 3 mm (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm)
Circular needles 2,5 mm (40 and 80 and/or 100 cm).

Gauge:
24 sts x 32 rows on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Procedure:
Tide_loop_tee is worked  top down. To start, the back and front are worked flat. They are then joined to form the body, which is worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up at the arm hole and thereafter worked in the round. To minimise the number of purl stitches, short rows are worked so the body and sleeves are worked from the wrong side. To achieve a good fit, short rows are worked both at the top of the back, the shoulders, and the sleeves. The textured pattern is charted for all sections of the Tide_loop_tee.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.

Washing instructions for your knitwear
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect. Often it is enough to hang your woolen sweater / garment outside in the humid weather or bring it with you into the bathroom, when you take a long, hot shower - the steam will often be enough to freshen it up it and remove any unwanted odors.

Specifically for knitwear knitted in Önling's Everyday Kit
Neither Önling No 12 nor No 13, is pre-washed when you receive it on cones. You get the best result if you soak your finished knitted garment in lukewarm water for approx. 2 hours. Then wash the garment as you would otherwise with washing detergent for wool, either by hand or on a wool program in your washing machine. Dry it by laying it flat.

Specifically for knitwear knitted in Önling's Silk kit
As the Silk Kit from Önling contains 3 different qualities (linen, wool and silk), we recommend that you always wash your silk sweater / garment by hand, to avoid it changing shape or appearance during wash. The three qualities will react differently to water, temperatures, etc. Önling can not take responsibility for the result if you wash your silk sweater in the washing machine. Your garment made from the silk kit should NOT be spun or tumble dried. Instead, dry it by laying it flat.

We demand a lot from our yarn

We sell yarn under our own label - yarn that is produced in a family-run yarn mill in Italy. The yarn is produced according to organic standards and can be traced back to the individual sheep on the specific field, to ensure the welfare of the animals. All our yarn is off course mulesing-free.
