In the 'Socktober' gift bag, you’ll receive: 300g of Önling No 18, our luxurious sock yarn made of 75% OEKO-TEX certified wool and 25% polyester from recycled PET bottles. There is enough yarn for at least two pairs of socks (and you will have yarn left over).

Recommended needles
You need double-pointed needles or a circular needle size 2,5 mm / US 1.5 in 60 cm (Iben Chunky 4 mm (US size 6) circular needle, 60 cm / 24 inches)
The sizes can be adjusted by knitting according to the stitch count for size small if you have narrow feet and knit them to your desired length. Conversely, you can knit according to the stitch count for size L if you have wide feet.
Recommended needles: circular needles size 2,5 mm (US 1.5) in 60 cm or double-pointed needles size 2,5 mm (US 1.5)
Gauge: 32 sts x 47 rows on needle 2,5 mm (US 1.5) = 10 x 10 cm / 4x 4 inches (Iben Chunky 22 sts x 30 rows per 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches on 4 mm circular needle)

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
