The Josephine knot headband is a smart and trendy headband with a beautiful braid on the front, also called a 'Josephine knot'. The headband is a fun and relatively easy knitting project, and the size can easily be regulated.
It is a soft and warm headband which is worked in ourÖnling No 2,sustainable 100% merino wool - or yarnscraps.
Josephine was a part of Önling Advent Calendar 2019.

50 g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100’s Wool, and a digital pattern.

A: Width: 48 cm
B: Height: 10 cm
Materials:
Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100’s wool. You knit with one thread throughout
Needles: Circular needles no. 3,5
2 safety pins
2 m of yarn in a contrasting color (temporary), and crochet stocking
Gauge:
24 sts og 30 rows in stockinette stitch on needle no. 3 = 10 x 10 cm

Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
