Yarn kit for Eurus sweater by Aegyo Knit in Önling No 1 + Silk Mohair (excl pattern)

Eurus is Aegyo Knit's modern interpretation of a classic Aran sweater. With an oversized silhouette and traditional cables, it is sure to be a timeless wardrobe favourite. It is constructed from sleeve to sleeve and the sides are sewn together at the end. To finish, stitches are picked up for the neck band and ribbing along the bottom edge.

We knit the gorgeous Eurus Sweater in Önling No 1 and silk mohair, resulting in a luxurious and ultra soft sweater.

This kit contains: Önling No 1 and Önling No 10 yarn for the selected size and color (pattern are not included)

Be aware that this is a lightly oversized sweater with a boxy and short shape. The pictured sweater is a size 1 shown on a XS model.

Materials: 
This kit does not contain the original yarn used by Aegyo Knit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge

400 (500) 600 g Önling No 1, 75% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool and 25% Angora, 50 g = 197 yards (180 m) pr. 50 g

Held together with

175 (225) 250 g Önling No 10, 70% mohair and 30% silk, 25 g = approximately 230 yards (210 meters).

You work with 2 strands held together throughout 

Recommended needles:
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle (40 - 80 cm / 16" - 32")
6 mm / US 10 circular needle (40 - 80 cm / 16" - 32")
Cable needle 5 or 6 mm / US 8 or 10.

Gauge: 16 sts x 20 rows in stockinette st = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4" x 4".

Note: This gauge will change when you begin to work cables, so be aware that you maintain gauge, see gauge for cable 1 below.

Gauge for cable 1: 23-25 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4" x 4"

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
