Knitting kit for Copenhagen cardigan, by PetiteKnit in Önling No 1

PetiteKnit took the Danish knitting community by storm a few years ago, when she released the basis sweater 'No Frills'. Her minimalistic signature style is also characteristic for this classic cardigan, named after the Danish capital Copenhagen.

Copenhagen is worked flat from the top down with raglan increases, in stockinette stitch, with a vertical rib along the front edges for the button bands. As an extra detail, the Copenhagen Cardigan features inside pockets. Here we knit it in our luxurious Önling No 1 yarn, which is 75% merino wool and 25% angora.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
