The Cleo Clutch is worked in stockinette stitches from the bottom up. It also comes in a purse version. Here we knit it in Önling no 21, 60% cotton and 40% linen.
The yarn kit contains: Önling no 21, yarn for the selected size and color. The kit does not contain buttons or pattern.

Materials:
This yarn kit does not contain the original yarn used by PetiteKnit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge.
Purse: 50g of Önling no 21, 60% cotton, 40% linen 50g=105 meters/214 yards.
Clutch: 150(200) g of Önling no 21, 60% cotton, 40% linen 50g=105 meters/214 yards.
Worked with 3 strands throughout.
Gauge: 19 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US6] needles = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
Suggested needles: 4 mm [US6] / 60 and 80 cm [24 and 32 inches] circular needle, 4 mm [US6] double pointed needles (if not the Magic Loop technique is used)
Procedure: The Cleo Clutch is worked in stockinette stitch from the bottom up. The top of the clutch is mounted on the clutch frame. At the end, the lining is sewn to the inside of the clutch.
The accompanying purse is worked from the top down. The bottom is sewn together with Kitchener Stitch. At the end, the lining is sewn to the inside of the clutch. The pattern contains the sewing instructions for the lining for both the clutch and purse.
The Cleo Clutch is worked with three strands of the recommended yarn.

The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices bt placing an order and stating the LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
