Knitting pattern for Knitting is my therapy bandana
Knitting can have many purposes. To a stressed or troubled brain, it may serve as a haven, easy to navigate in and leaving little space for thoughts running out of control. Knitting is a pleasure when it does not stress the brain too much. For example, it can be stressful continuously having to change focus between pattern and knitting, concentrating too much on gauge, or worrying whether your knitting is ’good enough’.
The Knitting is my therapy bandana has been designed and developed for knitters who need an intuitive knitting project; to this end, the pattern uses slightly longer descriptions.
The pattern offers 2 different versions: one with wide structure stripes and another one with a seed stitch pattern.
The bandana is worked from 2 balls of Önling No 2 which is a lovely and ultra soft 100% merino wool.
The kit contains: Önling No 2 and a digital knitting pattern
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
