Hjerterum' is a both feminine and casual scarf with a pattern of small hearts created by the delicate eyelet pattern in the garter stitch ridges. It is a large and cozy scarf and we knit it in our soft, sustainable No 1 yarn.
In January 2022 we will knit the scarf together in our KAL, and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us and knit the scarf with us. Join the KAL by knitting and sharing photos of your scarf in our Facebook group Önling Knit Community, using the tag #hjerterumkal
'Hjerterum' is a both feminine and casual scarf with a pattern of small hearts created by the delicate eyelet pattern in the garter stitch ridges. The scarf is reversible and may be used as a scarf or worn as a long shawl across your shoulders. The length is easily adjustable to fit your needs and wishes. It is knitted in our ultra-soft, sustainable Merino wool, Önling No 2, using needles 2 sizes larger than usual, to make for a soft, delicious, and light scarf.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
