Knitting kit for Rikke Tee in Önling No 14

Rikke Tee is a variation of Rikke Sweater, and when you buy this kit, you will receive the pattern for Rikke sweater and the Tee as an appendix to the sweater pattern.
The t-shirt has an oversize fit that will expand after washing and blocking. The positive ease is 15-20 cm - if you want a t-short that fits a little tighter, go down a size.
We knit Rikke Sweater in one strand of Önling No 14, which is a gorgeous and soft summer yarn in 100% TENCEL (TM) Lyocell.

Please note: The t-shirt has a positive ease of 15-20 cm, and has an oversize fit. if you want a t-shirt that fits a little tighter, go down a size. The t-shirt is worked in rib pattern, which will stretch a lot. Therefore, it’s important that you wash and block your finished product into shape and size.

Materials: (350)350(400)400(450)500(550)550(600) g Önling No 14, 100% TENCEL Lyocell, approx 114 m pr. 50 g - Color 107 marcipan
Worked with one strand throughout.
Recommended needles: Recommended circular needle and double-pointed needles size 3 mm and 4 mm / US 2.5 and 6.
Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows of slightly stretched rib stitch on needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches
Procedure:
The tee is knitted in the round, top-down. It starts with an Italian cast-on. Short rows are worked across the shoulders and neck at the beginning to create a higher neckline. The yoke is worked with raglan increases. Then the work is divided, and sleeves and body are knitted separately. The sleeves are knitted in the round.

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
