Yarn kit for Drop Loop top by Other Loops in Önling No 14
The Drop Loop top is designed as a loosely fitted top, worked in stockinette stitch with drop stitches to give the top a unique expression.
The drop stitches run elegantly down both the front and back pieces, while a panel in stockinette stitches highlight both sides of the body.
Here we knit Drop Loop top in our summer yarn Önling No 14, a 100% TENCEL Lyocell yarn with a slightly shiny surface. The yarn will make the top soft, light and perfect for summer days.
The kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and color.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This kit does not include a pattern. You can buy the pattern at otherloops.com
- The model shown in the pictures on this page are designers own and NOT worked in Önling yarns.

Materials:
250 (250) 250 (300) 300 (400) g Önling No 14. The yarn is made from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell with a yardage of approx 114 m / 127 yrds per 50 gr
Recommended needle size:
4 mm (US 6) circular needles (60 or 80 cm / 24 or 32 inches).
Gauge: 22 sts x 32 rows stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
The row gauge is important as several length measurements in the pattern are given in number of rows.
Procedure:
Worked from the bottom up in one piece. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, then the work is divided into the front and back sections, which are worked flat one at a time. Decreases are worked to form the armholes, the neckline and the back of the neck. Drop stitches start by the armholes and are dropped from there and from the upper part of the top. The dropped stitches run elegantly down the front and back sections with neat panels of stockinette stitches on either side of the body.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
