One of our most popular designs is this Magnum sweater. A beautiful and soft sweater with a trendy lace pattern on sleeves and body. It’s fun and fast to knit, and it will look good as loungewear as well as with a cute summer dress. We knit it in our own sustainable yarn, Önling No 1 and silk mohair.
The sweater is worked in the round, bottom up. Start by working the rib, followed by pattern front and back, and structured sides. The sleeves are knitted bottom up with rib and lace. Join sleeves and body, make raglan decreases, and end with a ribbed edge at the neck.

The copper brown sweater in the images is originally knit in Önling No 1 Copper (181244) and Brushed Lace from Mohair by Canard, Cognac 3048, but we now have the matching color Cognac (3138) in Önling No 10, which is available above. The lavender blue sweater in the images, is knit in a light blue No 1, which is unfortunately no longer available.

Recommended needles: circular needle and double-pointed needles in size 6 / US 10 and size 7 / US 10½.
4 markers in color 1 = markers at the sides and at the raglan
4 markers in color 2 = pattern markers
Gauge:16 sts and 20 rows in stockinette stitch on needle size 7 / US 10½ = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
