Knitting kit for Jenny jacket by PetiteKnit in Önling No 2 and Önling No 10
The Jenny Jacket is worked from the bottom up in a knitted smock pattern. The body and sleeves are worked separately and then gathered on the circular needle for the yoke. The yoke is worked with short rows at the top to shape the neckline. The body is worked back and forth, while the sleeves are worked in the round, either on double-pointed needles or on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. At the end, stitches are picked up along the front edges to knit the button bands or plackets. At the end, the neck edge is worked.
Size guide
The Jenny Jacket is designed to have approx. 12-15 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 12-15 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-105 (105-115) 115-125 (125-135) cm.
The measurements for the finished garment are on the front page of the pattern. Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or your widest upper body part) to determine which size will fit you the best.
For example, if you measure 90 cm around your bust (or around the widest part on your upper body) you should knit a size S.
A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 102 cm which in the given example would give you 12 cm of positive ease. If you are between two sizes, I recommend choosing the smaller size, as the smock pattern will grow with wear.
The knitting kit contains:Yarn for the selected size and a printed pattern, which you'll receive physically with your yarn. Buttons are not included.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
