Knitting kit for Dahlia sweater in Önling No 2

Dahlia is a wonderful, classic sweater with a beautiful, structured stitch pattern, inspired by the Dahlia petal structure. Perfect for all seasons of the Danish weather. We have invented some new increase techniques that you will learn as you go.

Dahlia is easy to knit, top-down, which lets you fit the sweater to your measurements as you go. The design is oversize, with a positive ease of approx. 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) compared to your body measurements, and features deep armholes and 3/4 sleeves.

Here we knit Dahlia in our ultrasoft and luxurious Önling No 2 yarn, with which you'll get a light, yet snug and warm sweater, as No 2 is 100% pure merino wool.

You can also knit Dahlia in our Everyday kit, which is a light combination of yarns, perfect for tops, T-shirts, and light sweaters. The everyday kit consists ofÖnling No 12, a light mix of wool and cotton, andÖnling No 13,which is our accompanying thread in cashmere and super soft first-cut lambswool. Knitted together the two threads make up a fantastic combination, as No 13 gives No 12 a softer look, better texture, and firmer structure. See Dahlia kit in Önling Everyday kit here

The knitting kit contains: Önling No 2 and a pattern.

The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
