A lovely, long cardigan in shaker rib with pockets and a collar / reverse knitted together on the most interesting way. There is countless opportunities to play with the colors on this cardigan - it is just as beautiful in one solid color as with colored details on the sleeves, collar and lapel.

Recommended needles: circular needle size 3 and 3.5 mm / US 2.5 and 4
Gauge: 23 sts and 46 rows in shaker rib = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
Procedure:
The cardigan is worked in an easy check pattern bottom up, alternating between garter stitch and shaker rib. Collar and pockets are worked at the same time as the fronts, with colour changes in the folding line.

Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
