Knitting kit for Chili Ruffle Sweater in Önling No 3
This sweater is beautiful and simple, featuring a delicate ruffle hem, which gives it a very feminine look. The ruffle may be left out.
Here we knit the sweater in one strand Önling No 3, our organic heavy merino wool, resulting in a wonderful and chunky sweater – perfect for winter!
The Chili Sweater has a fairly regular fit, neither tight nor loose, with a positive ease of approx. 5 cm. The design includes a regular armhole size and three-quarter length sleeves, and the pattern also includes a description of how to make full-length sleeves.
This kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and color and a digital pattern

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down with raglan increases. First, the neck is formed by working back and forth. Then the piece is gathered and worked in stockinette stitch, knitting each round. The piece is then divided into body and sleeves, which are worked and finished separately. The ruffle hem is worked on the bottom of the body and may be omitted.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a knitting kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In some cases, however, you will not receive a pattern as part of your order:
If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
