Knitting kit for Belle sweater in stranded knitting
Belle is a pretty sweater in stranded knitting, inspired by the Faraoese knitting tradition. We have knitted the sweater in several colour combinations and it has been exciting to see how the chosen colours unfold in the pattern. The pop colour is your chance to play and ad your own touch to the design. The diagrammes use light pink til illustrate the pop colour, but you can add it where you feel best.
The kit contains: Önling No 15 for the selected size and a digital pattern
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

Crochet hook for casting on
3 stitch markers
3 m / approx. 3.5 yards of contrasting color yarn.
Procedure: The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are cast on using a provisional, crochet cast-on to allow final adjustment of the neck opening size. Short rows are worked across shoulders and back of the neck to make the yoke higher at the back of the neck. The yoke is worked with increases, and the yoke stitches are then divided into sleeves and body, which are finished separately.
Please Note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and state lot number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
