2 double pointed ndls (dpn) 3½ mm / US 4
Gauge 25 sts and 50 rows in garter stitch on ndls 3 mm / US 2.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches
Procedure
The jacket – in garter stitch – is worked vertically, starting from a knitted I-cord along the left front. From here you work a variety of stripes and plain colored gussets in short row technique giving the jacket its flattering flared shape. Fronts and back are all in one piece. The sleeves are worked separately and set into the armholes along an edge of chain stitches.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
