Knitting kit for Holly sweater by Ruth Sørensen for Önling in No 20
Here you get yarn and knitting pattern for a beautiful and classic cardigan in Fair Isle knitting with traditional two-tone Fair Isle rib edges. The cardigan is designed by the talented Ruth Sørensen, who is one of the best in Denmark to design beautiful Fair Isle knitwear. Sine's cardigan is knitted in five colours of Önling No 20, Shetland wool, which is perfect for knitting pattern knitting and not least Fair Isle knitting. Sine is knitted from the bottom up with traditional Fais Isle techniques, where you knit in the round and cut up the middle of the front, in armholes and in the neckline.
The cardigan is relatively tight-fitting, so go up a size if you want a looser fit.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLINGIn 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
