Knitting kit for Majse Sweater by Pastelkollektivet

Pa

The design idea behind the Majse Sweater was to make a sweater with a slightly different shape that had subtle, elegant and flattering details. The sleeves are voluminous at the top, and decreases are made towards the cuff to give a tighter fit around the wrist. The body of the sweater is oversized and lightly cropped, which gives a lot of room to move.

You don't need to master many difficult techniques for this sweater, but on the other hand, you have to make a lot of increases in different ways - both for the sleeves and the body, so we recommend you find either paper and a pen or a knitting counter.

Majse sweater is worked in a lovely and soft combination of Önling No 20 (shetland wool), Önling No 12 (wool/cotton) and silk mohair.

This kit contains: Önling No 20, Önling No 12 and Önling No 10 and a digital pattern

The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. You will also receive an e-mail with a link to your pattern, and the pattern will be available here at the site via your personal account - so remember to create an account :-) Read more about digital knitting patterns here.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.

In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:

- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.

- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.

Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.

Önling is born with slow fashion at heart

When it comes to clothing, a long life is a good life. We have spun that philosophy into our products and designs. We want you to be able to create clothes in our yarns, that you'll want to wear until they are worn out. That requires quality. Quality in the materials, in the design and not least in the possibility for recycling and scrap usage.
