Yarn kit for Friday Tee by PetiteKnit, Önling No 21
Friday Tee is an absolutely beautiful t-shirt with a great fit from PetiteKnit. Here it is knitted in Önling No 21, which makes for a light summer version in OEKO-TEX-certified linen and cotton.
The yarn kit contains: Yarn for the selected size and color.

This yarn kit does not contain the original yarn used by PetiteKnit, but carefully selected yarn that matches the gauge:
Önling No 21, 60% cotton and 40% linen, approx 195m = 50g
Col. A: 250(250)250(300)300(400)400(450)450 g
Col. B: 100(150)150(150)150(150)150(150)150 g
For a solid colored tee the total yardage is 350(400)400(450)450(550)550(600)600 g Önling No 21, 60% cotton and 40% linen, approx 195m = 50g
Gauge: 28 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in broken rib stitch on 3 mm [US2½] needles after wash and blocking
Note that the gauge before washing will be approx. 35 sts in 10 cm
Needles: Circular needles: 3 mm / 40, 60, 80 and 100 cm and 2.5 mm / 40 cm
Double-pointed needles: 3 mm (if the Magic Loop technique is not used)
Procedure:
The Friday Tee is worked from the top down in a broken rib stitch pattern with raglan increases on the yoke. The neck edge is worked in rib and then knitted together to form a double-knit neckband. Short rows are worked on the yoke to shape the neckline. Sleeves and body are finished with a simple rib edge.

In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
