Scarf No. 2 is a textured scarf. The pattern is worked from the top down and includes both charts and text. The decorative texture is created by knit and purl stitches.
The construction allows you to adjust the size to your wishes and needs whilst knitting.
We knit Scarf No 2 in Önling No 2, our 100% merino superfine wool. Resulting in a light and very soft scarf.

- The model shown in the pictures on this page are designers own and NOT worked in Önling yarns.
The yarn kit contains: Önling No 2 for the chosen size and color, no pattern.
Sizes:
Small: A bandana with 4 pattern sequences (shown in purple).
Medium: A scarf with 6 pattern sequences (shown in greyish brown).
Measurements:
Scarf: 100 * 40 cm [39.5 * 15.75 inches]
Bandana: 96 * 25 cm [37.75 * 10 inches]
Suggested needles:
3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles (60 cm [24 inches] or longer)
Gauge: In textured knitting using 3.5 mm [US 4] needles 21 sts / 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
The given gauge is measured after washing and blocking.

50 (75) g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool, 25 g = app. 131 yards (120 meters)

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
