We knit Scarf No 1 in Önling No 2, our superfine and soft merino wool, resulting in a warm and comfortable bandana or scarf.

- The model shown in the pictures on this page are designers own and NOT worked in Önling yarns.
The yarn kit contains: Önling No 2 for the chosen size and color, no pattern.

Sizes:
This pattern has two sizes.
- One small bandana, which wraps around your neck only once - it is also suitable for your hair.
- A slightly bigger scarf, which wraps around your neck twice.
Measurements:
Bandana: 70 * 27 cm [27.5 * 10.5 inches]
Scarf: 94 * 25 cm [37 * 10 inches]
Suggested needles:
3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles (60 cm [24inches] or longer)
Gauge: In textured pattern using 3.5 mm [US 4] needles 21 sts / 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
TIP! Equivalent to 21 sts / 31 rows in stocking stitch.
Materials:
50 (50) g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100s Wool, 25 g = app. 131 yards (120 meters)

- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
