Knitting kit for Rikke Scarf in Önling No 4
The talented Rikke Jønsson, who runs the gorgeous Instagram profile @handmade__by__rj, has come up with the design idea for the stunning Rikke collection, and this lovely and delicate scarf is a natural extension of both Rikke summer top and Rikke sweater.
The scarf is knitted in a beautiful rib pattern with an integrated lace motif that characterizes the Rikke collection. The ribbing stretches considerably with washing and blocking. The scarf can be worked in 1 strand of Önling No 2, our exceptionally soft merino wool yarn, or Önling No 4, our new organic merino wool - both are perfectly soft for scarves.
Here we knit the scarf with 1 strand of Önling No 4, our soft and organic merino wool, so soft that it is perfect to wear directly on the skin.

ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
