Yarn kit for Vesterhavet sweater.
Vesterhavet is the Danish name for the North Sea and has inspired the name of this gorgeous sweater featuring a pretty button pattern, knitted in our own sustainable Önling No 1 and silk mohair. This combination makes a super soft and light Nordic sweater which will be just as great when you wear it walking in jeans and wellies along the beautiful coast of the North Sea, as it will be worn as a lovely sweater over a dress on a chilly summer eve on the patio. This sweater will quickly become a staple of your wardrobe, and you will want to move into it.
Note that the grey sweater in the image is knit in Önling No 9, which has been discontinued.
This yarn kit contains: Önling No 1 and Önling No 10 silk mohair yarn for the elected size and a pattern.
The pattern is a PDF file. Immediately after purchase you will be able to download the pattern directly from the purchase confirmation page. ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
