All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
Procedure: The Kindhearted Sweater Mini is worked from the bottom up with a circular yoke in stranded colorwork knitting, as well as small colorwork details above the ribbing on both body and sleeves. To begin with, the body and both sleeves are worked separately, after which the parts are joined and the yoke is worked in the round. On the larger sizes, short rows are worked at the bottom of the yoke before beginning the colorwork segment in order to add extra length to the back and ensure a good fit. Once the yoke is finished and the stitches have been bound off, new stitches are picked up along the neckline for the folded neckband. Lastly, the hole under each sleeve is seamed together using Kitchener Stitch.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
