Yarn kit for Dover Sweater by Coco Amour (excl pattern)
Dover Sweater is worked from the top down in a raglan structure. The fit is everything in this simple, classic design. Pair it with high-waisted trousers or over a dress. Dover sweater is ideal to wear under a blazer or coat without bulky excess material at the underarm due to the shallower armhole depth.
The yarn kit contains: Önling No 1, yarn for the selected size and color. The kit does not contain pattern.

Procedure: First the yoke is worked with short rows to create shape to the neck. The remainder of the yoke is worked in the round with raglan increases. The sweater is then divided for the body and sleeves, and new stitches are cast on for the underarms. The body and sleeves are finished separately and worked in the round, and the edges are bound off using the Italian Bind-off technique. Lastly the neck is worked in stockinette stitch.
Please note:
The price of the yarn kit is calculated based on the amount of yarn included, which is the amount we have used to knit the design according to the above measurements. Should you need more yarn, additional yarn can be purchased at regular prices by placing an order and stating the LOT number in the comment box at checkout. All designs have been thoroughly calculated and tested.
ABOUT PATTERNS FROM ÖNLING
In 95% of all kits from Önling, you get a digital pattern and yarn when you buy a kit. Read more about how to get hold of your digital knitting pattern here.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- When you buy a kit for ALL designs from PetiteKnit's, you will receive a printed, pattern together with your yarn, as we are unfortunately not allowed to sell Petite Knits' patterns digitally.
- When you buy a kit for a design from selected books (e.g. Helga Isager), you sometimes have to buy the book separately, in cases where the patterns are not released to be sold separately. It will always be clearly described in the product title, with for example "xx kit, excluding pattern", when the pattern is not included.
- All patterns from Isager are delivered as a printed pattern, as we do not have access to sell these digitally. You will receive your pattern along with your yarn shipment.
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
