Yarn kit for Rēsu summer top in No 12, Everyday Yarn.
The summer is near, and it is time to knit the top for showing off those brown shoulders on balmy evenings. The top is designed to be a little short in the body, but you can easily add extra inches / centimetres to the length, so it gets exactly the length you want. Rēsu means lace in Japanese... and this is Önling's contribution to the lace top for the upcoming summer.
Here we work it in our Everyday Yarn, Önling No 12, cotton and wool.

230 g (2 cones) Önling No 12 Everyday Yarn, 55% wool and 45% cotton., 800 m pr. ca 115 g.
Work through the entire project with 2 strands.
Circular needle and double pointed needlessize 5 and 6 / US 8 and 10
1 marker for round beg, 4 markers to mark the lace pattern front and back.
Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows in pattern on needle size 6 / US 10 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 inches
Washing instructions
Our Önling No 12 yarn has not been pre-washed when you get the cones. You will get the best result by soaking the finished sweater in lukewarm water for approx. 2 hours and subsequently washing it gently using wool wash, either by hand or in your washing machine using its wool program. Dry it by laying it flat on a dry towel.

If you buy a Yarn kit, you will only receive yarn for the design in question. Yarn kits are only sold for selected designs from external designers, where we do not have the right to sell the pattern. When a kit is sold without pattern, you can always see it in the header, which will say (excl pattern) in the header.
In very few cases, however, we provide a printed pattern rather than a digital one:
- For a select, few designs from PetiteKnit, we will add a printed pattern to the parcel - but for most PetiteKnit designs, you will not receive a pattern, as they are mainly sold as yarn kits (excl pattern). In these cases you will always be able to see it in the header, where it says (excl pattern).
Wool can last for years, but it requires good care. Washing is tough on your woolen garments and in general wool needs to be washed much less than other materials as it has a self-cleaning effect.
